InterValue v2.0 global alpha test

Local full node recruitment

InterValue v2.0 testnet launch - First global recruitment of local full nodes alpha test

Dear InterValue’s Supporters and Technical Community Members,

InterValue aims to build a usable, multifunctional, high performance, easy to use, strong user experience and scalable infrastructure for Blockchain 4.0 era and develop the underlying ecosystem that will support applications of all kinds.

In the beginning of May 2018, the project released the InterValue v1.0 testnet to public after it was successfully tested internally during Q1. A large number of community members downloaded and experimented it. Feedbacks were very positive and testers expressed their confidence and enthusiasm about the product performance.

This time, InterValue will release its v2.0 testnet, as initially planned in the roadmap. This version will feature the newly designed HashNet consensus mechanism.

Hashnet is an ultra-high performance two-layer sharding consensus mechanism featuring full nodes, local full nodes, and light nodes. Full nodes are mainly in charge of establishing and reorganizing shards within the lower-layer, adding new local full nodes and removing the old ones, without participating in local full nodes consensus.

Local full nodes form various shards. Each of these shards performs internal transactions and achieves a consensus. Light nodes are wallet clients, and every user can use them to perform a transaction

Through InterValue v2.0 testnet launch, the team hopes to attract communities and professional organizations from all over the world, get them to participate in the establishment of a community and contribute to the development of InterValue's global ecosystem. As part of this InterValue’s local full nodes and light nodes recruitment plan, participants will be rewarded in INVE tokens in exchange for their contributions during the test after its completion. Local full node recruitment guidelines
Nodes recruitment begins on July 5th, 00:00:00 (GMT+8)
The applicants satisfying entry requirements are allowed to submit candidate application.
When the candidate passes the review, the information relevant to candidates will be publicly disclosed on InterValue’s website.
Nodes recruitment ends on July 20th, 00:00:00 (GMT+8)
After the recruitment is completed, successful applicants will be provided with the local full-node procedure to download.
Applicants who successfully passed need to activate their local full-node and ensure that it operates normally before July 25th, 00:00:00 (GMT+8)
The maximum number of applications for local full node testing is limited to 2,000.
Local full node test period
The test begins on July 25th, 00:00:00 (GMT+8)
The test ends on August 5th, 23:59:59 (GMT+8)
Local full node recruitment: token rewards

During the test phase (July 25th,00:00:00 (GMT+8) to August 5th, 23:59:59 (GMT+8)), the number of transaction confirmations for participating local full node will be recorded in order to confirm their actual contribution in the process. At the end of the test, a certain amount INVE Token reward will be granted based on the contribution of each local full-node.

The bounty program of local full node participants (quotas: 2,000)
Contribution rewards:
Keep the local full node working in test phase (require the record of everyday’ transaction consensus), can receive 1000 token rewards.
Ranking rewards:
During the test phase, we will choose the Top 10 rewards for the additional INVE Token based on the number of each local full node participating in the transaction consensus (Each local full node is assigned a contributiuon value (CV). For each consensus transaction, the CV of first 2/3 signed local full nodes is added. Thus, the local full node with max CV gets the max bonus. )The first 1-1000 place will be awarded an extra INVE Token.
Ranking Rewards
1st Place 10,000 INVE
2nd Place 8,000 INVE
3rd Place 6,000 INVE
4th Place 5,000 INVE
5th Place 4,000 INVE
6th Place 3,000 INVE
7th Place 2,500 INVE
8th Place 2,000 INVE
9th Place 1,500 INVE
10th Place 1,000 INVE
11th-100th Place 500 INVE
101th-1000th Place 200 INVE
